About Your Practitioner
Kimberly Hoover, L.Ac., M.T.O.M, D.N.C.C.A., D.N.B.A.O. graduated in 1990 with a Master's degree in Traditional Oriental Medicine from the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine located in San Diego, California.
Ms. Hoover is board licensed in California and has also been designated a diplomate in Acupuncture by the National Commission for the Certification of Acupuncturists.
Ms. Hoover is unique in her approach because she is experienced in both Chinese and Japanese traditional medicine. Ms. Hoover is a specialist in Acupuncture Orthopedics, receiving her diplomate status from the National Board of Acupuncture Orthopedics in 2005. She spent three years training directly with Master Nakazono, world renowned as one of the finest Japanese acupuncturists. Ms. Hoover uses advanced diagnostic methods and is considered a specialist in pulse diagnosis.
Prior to her medical training, Ms. Hoover attended Colorado State University and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Social Work and Counseling.
