Method of Payment
It is customary to make your payment at the time services are rendered, unless other arrangements are made prior to your visit. For your convenience, we accept VISA and MasterCard and most debit cards with the VISA or MasterCard logo.
Insurance
Acupuncture is recognized by many medical insurance carriers. Many group plans offered through employment and some individual plans include acupuncture as a covered benefit. Your representative should be able to confirm your coverage. You may also call 619.470.4714 in Bonita or our Central San Diego office at 619.282.8068 to verify your coverage.
Acu-Care is a participating provider in many insurance networks which either cover acupuncture or offer a discount off regular fees. Please feel free to contact us with any other questions.
Workers' Compensation
By law, acupuncturists are considered primary care providers are therefore authorized by the state to provide services under workers' compensation laws. Personal Injury
Many attorneys handling personal injury cases recognize acupuncture as an effective means of treatment for their clients. If you have been involved in an accident, please inform us so that we may make financial arrangements with your attorney or insurance company.
