Can Oriental medicine be used to treat children's illnesses?
Oriental medicine is very effective in the treatment of many common childhood ailments, such as environmental and food allergies, asthma, acute and chronic ear, nose and throat infections, colic, diarrhea and other digestive disorders.
Because a child's system is more delicate, there are specialized techniques that have been developed to treat their different needs. Often these procedures are non-invasive and, therefore, less intimidating to them. One of the reasons children respond so well to this type of therapy is because they are growing and changing so fast that the correct stimulus often brings about the necessary changes much more quickly as compared to an adult with the same problem.
If you have a question about your child's specific condition and how it may respond to Oriental medical therapies, please give us a call.
